Genevieve + Gilio - Groene Geheim Almere Wedding

They met while celebrating carnival. Gilio, who was living in The Netherlands, saw Genevieve the minute she walked into a party and was immediately struck with her charming smile. Within moments, they were chatting. After the carnival, Gilio had to go back to The Netherlands. It did take them a couple of months to re-connect, but chatting online they started the correspondence that changed the course of their lives.

Over the next couple of months, they met as often as possible, him living in The Netherlands and Genevieve living in Curacao. Soon they became best friends and solid counterparts in a shifting world and after a year and a half, Genevieve was booking a flight to The Netherlands and their love blossomed from there.

Eleven years later, together they walked down the aisle and into the future, with their son and daughter. Surrounded by their family and friends, Genevieve and Gilio promised to stay true, to love and to cherish for the rest of their lives, and sealed their commitment with a kiss.

Genevieve & Gilio, you are the type of people that inspire others, and become thankful to have been invited into your lives.
