Jonna + Andre – Santa Martha Wedding
Jonna and Andre walked mangled paths, intersecting at different moments in their childhood and later both living in New York. It took a dating app for them to finally connect in a city with 8.5 million people. At first she was a bit hesitant, who was this guy from Curacao that now also lived in New York that she had not met yet?
When they met for a drink, she quickly fell in love with this – yoga and meditation practicing and jazz music loving – Caribbean guy with a British accent. Andre was most likely busy with a couple of business deals but when he finally got his priorities straight, he knew he was in love too.
Years later, Jonna and Andre planned their wedding in Curacao, and invited their friends and family from all over the world to join them. They hosted an amazing evening with delicious food, great music and crazy things happening on the dance floor.

The day started at the lovely Vila Tokara, a gorgeous old landhouse that now serves as a Bed & Breakfast. Andre and Jonna opted to see each other before the wedding ceremony, a truly perfect way to start their wedding day. Jonna wore a gorgeous Lover’s Society wedding dress that fit her like a glove…We spent most of our time for the photoshoot roaming through Scharloo, a beautiful old neighbourhood in Curacao. The light was just stunning. Their Jewish wedding ceremony was held under a lovely chuppah. After signing the ketubah, Jonna and Andre had a heartwarming ceremony…The landhouse provides the most stunning views of the Curacao hills, hands down.
